Frequently asked questions

Can I edit a DOCX without an account?

Yes. Open the editor, choose a local DOCX file, make your changes, and download the result without signing in.

Where is my document saved?

This version has no cloud save. Download your edited DOCX to your device before you leave the editor. Your browser may warn you about unsaved changes, but that warning is not a backup.

Does it work on a phone?

The homepage is readable on mobile. The editor is designed and tested for desktop Chrome and Edge in this first release.

Is AI editing available?

Not yet. AI editing is planned for a later version.

Will every DOCX look exactly the same?

We tested a document with headings, paragraphs, bold text, and a table. Complex layouts may render differently, so keep the original file and review your download.
